Long Description:
Raiding, let’s face it, is a warm weather activity. Try scaring the locals into submission when you jump out of your boat and fall face-first on the ice. Better just to stay home until the Spring thaw. But Vikings at home get bored. So what harm could come from an invitation to some friendly winter competition? A feared and fearsome Jarl, his soldiers legendary for their bravery and prowess, has issued just such an invitation. There’s no way you can decline and keep your reputation as "pretty fearsome yourself," so…pack your spear and your best mead. Grab a skald to tell everyone of your victory when it’s done. And maybe find some quiet way to cheat. Because you’re also widely known to be "surprisingly clever, considering." Costumes appreciated but not required. All people are celebrated here, we have no tolerance for intolerance.
