Russia, 1874, and famous artist and architect Victor Hartmann has died very suddenly. To commemorate his life, an exhibition of his works is being displayed in St. Petersburg. While viewing the gallery, a painting of a spindly legged gnome starts to move, thrusting a group of Patrons into a new world of magic and mythology, with Baba Yaga hot on their heels.
