It’s 1925 and Charlie Johnson's Paradise Orchestra has just begun a set at the grand opening of Small’s Paradise nightclub in Harlem. A renaissance of music, poetry, and art is in full swing in this Black Mecca of America. But there is something strange in the air on 133rd Street. News of missing dancers and staff across Jungle Alley has everyone on edge. But obviously it’s baloney! Especially when the juice is flowing, and the jelly is plentiful in the greatest city in the world!
