Ba Gua Zhang, one of the three main internal systems of Chinese martial arts. Bagua can be recognized by its circular footwork, quick direction changes and spiraling movements. Rather than confronting an attack directly foot work, circling and spiral movements are used to evade and counter attack. Through constant practice, the movements of Bagua can enhance core conditioning, spinal flexibility, strengthen joints and improve circulation.
