Short Description:
Where art and science intersect! Light interacts with different materials in VERY different ways. By understanding this you'll be able to recreate a multitude of surface types on your minis.
Long Description:
In this class we will talk about the science of light and how it interacts with different shapes and different materials. We will learn the difference between specular and diffuse reflections, as well as discuss why metallic surfaces are so uniquely difficult to understand and represent in art. This course will provide a solid theoretical and practical foundation for determining how to approach painting different materials on your minis. For Intermediate to advanced painters. It is highly recommended to take my "Become a Mini-painting Maestro by Mastering the Fundamentals." class before taking this one if you aren't already very confident with your paint application.
