Discover why Indianapolis has come to be known as the “Circle City” on a guided walking tour of the city’s most recognizable historic district. Tourgoers will see landmarks from various eras, including exteriors of the Soldiers & Sailors Monument, Christ Church Cathedral, Circle Theatre, and more.
Along the way, guides will share stories and little-known history, revealing how the district’s art, architecture, and unique combination of public and private spaces give Indy its distinctive character as the state’s capital.
This tour takes place outside and covers approximately 1 mile. Tours run rain or shine, so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
The route is accessible for those using mobility aids or with strollers. There is not seating or access to public restrooms along the tour route.
