Learn to play. All players will receive a set of terrain pieces, just for playing. This event is for beginner to intermediate experience levels.
Long Description:
Players choose a faction hand picked to be easy enough to learn quickly, whilst still being complex enough to learn play expression through tactics and fast paced action. Three scenarios will be set up: 1) An open terrain set on a harsh, deserted world favoring range and smart cover placement, and rewarding intelligent movement across the board. 2) A closed terrain set on a derelict space hulk, an ancient space ship featuring tight corridors and narrow kill zones with natural choke points, accompanied by doors and bulkheads that require careful consideration and planning to navigate. 3) A hybrid map set in an abandoned area of an hive city, littered with rubble and debris that leaves it crowded and cluttered, while still being an open air objective site, allowing for high ground and dense cover, while still forcing aggressive play to maintain the objective.
