Torlane has been cursed in perpetual winter. Snow and biting winds have enveloped the sleepy village. The distraught leader of the council wants you to investigate what is going on and stop it.
Long Description:
For two years now, the people of Torlane have been in the grips of winter's cold embrace - there seems no end in sight. Crops cannot be raised, livestock are running out of food, sickness is starting to set in upon the village, and our supplies are running very low....we are exhausted and desperately need your help. It has been said that an evil wizard used foul magic to curse our village, and that the source of this magic lies in the ruins of his old keep up in the hills within the Manglewood. No one is brave enough to go into those woods very far, nor especially to this keep, but 3 nights ago a group of lumberjacks say they smelled smoke and saw some lights up in that direction. Will you rescue us?
