Okay, I'm coming back for the first time since 2019, and I got a hotel out by the airport.
For prices, IIRC it was in the $20-$30ish dollar range to drive down and park my car for the day, if you can find a spot. Easier early on Saturday when the city offices parking garage is available to the public.
Has that gone up, and for those that went with Uber or Lyft, what would the typical price be for such a trip, about 13 to 14 miles, each way? Figure an all day stay at the con so coming back late if that impacts the rates.
Uber and Lyft... well, you can see the price today, and then I'd go x4 during Gen Con. I did Uber in 2019 out past the airport (Plainsfield), and it was $20-$25 one way before tip. I'd expect that to be at least $50, if not $75 this year. And be prepared for a long wait. Most Uber's didn't want to take a fare more than about 10 miles from downtown. They can get more rides around downtown then out to the suburbs.
