Quick question, if I can’t make Thursday due to an emergency, how do I return Thursday events. My schedule has the “Return Tickets” button but for fear of clicking it and everything getting returned, I thought I would ask the experts.

You can return it'll online if it's an electronic ticket. It won't return everything.

They are paper tickets. The events are sold out so I was hoping someone else could go.

Paper tickets can only be returned in person at Gen Con.

Since these are for crafting events and I figure the host has purchased materials in advance, would it be better to return in person after the event time, or simply give them to the host later so they get credit for them. It is bad all around, and I just want to do the best for the bad situation

If there’s a waitlist, the host might be able to fill your spot with someone else who was hoping to attend. This could help recoup the materials cost and avoid any loss.

If your ticket is a paper ticket, like raft wars, please return it directly to Gen Con, contact the customer service desk at the event, or check for a special policy for emergencies.
