Marion County imposes a 10% Admissions Tax.

I imagine either the state/city/county they are in either doesn't charge an admissions tax or it is folded into the cost of the badge without letting the buyer know.

That it could be..  Just like a renter's 'fee for renting an appartment' doesn't show what the "Property taxes" and such are for said facility.

Even when you pre-register the tax is included.
