Whoever said that about expectations hit it on the head. Trying to merge a couple people who like partying and sleeping in with a couple people who come to game 8am and sleep at night IS NOT a good idea. Mix it in with another couple who are shy and have trouble with strangers and want to do /everything/ together and you have a recipe for disaster.

I've recruited people from the forums and such.  I've had good experiences, but I also don't bring expensive items. And things like talking to the person and having them pay upfront are required. If I get a bad vibe from talking to someone, I won't have them in my room.
