I kind of like the new look.

Are you on a mobile or desktop?  It's definitely got the white background popping it up as brighter for me.

It's very... plain.  But matches the wintery theme I suppose.

I've been busy writing user CSS to override things I don't like, like making the links easier to see and getting rid of the sidebar.  There's a lot of weird attributes and places where there's no class specified but I would have expected one, which isn't helping. :/

Otherwise, it's extremely barebones.  Rolling their own is not something I would have recommended.

Wait for them to add a signature feature, if they decide to do so.  You could make a thread for it in the Technical Support forum.

I was just getting my fancy die in my profile up past newb levels on the old forum :(

The new forums look awesome! Although it does now look less like I might be on a boring old business site which makes it harder to browse at work :p

Also the old forum had the capacity to quote multiple people.  This one seems to only let you quote one person at a time.

You can do more than one I believe.

Just using you for the example.

As long as they're on the same page you can quote multiple posts by clicking the "quote post arrow" for each one.  It formats a quote in the New Post box, below whatever's already in there, in a way you can't duplicate otherwise.

Wow.
Nellybelle herself!
I agree that the generic icons are nice but not as nice as using your own.
