Best cities for tabletop wargamers?

I'm hoping the gamer-heavy community here can help me out with this question.

Which U.S. cities, in your experience, have a large miniature wargamer following? By "miniature wargames," I mean stuff like Warhammer 40,000, Star Wars: Armada, stuff like that.

San Diego seems like it has a strong wargaming community.

Washington DC & its suburbs have multiple groups of miniatures gamers.

Portland, OR has a pretty strong community too.

Washington D.C. and suburbs are likely the best. It is also near Historicon, a much better wargames con than GenCon.
