Discord Connection Issue at Event

I made a good faith effort to join the below event on time and so did the others attending and GM'ing.  Discord gave us all a poor connection and never allowed me to Connect at all (yes I did check all my settings many times and have used it before).  Is it possible to get a refund for this ticket since I was unable to play in the event?  Gencon Online does need a way to notify Gencon when there was a problem with an event.
