When do we expect to hear back regarding Complimentary Rooms in the GM Hotel Block?

Just wondering if I submitted for a complimentary hotel room in the GM block with enough player hours, when do we typically expect to hear back or find out if we will get a room or not?  If it's unknown, then when was it in previous years?

In the past, it has not been unusual not to hear back until much closer to the convention.

We don't process GM hotel rooms until after the deadline, so you should get confirmation in late May or in June for any GM hotel request.

Any updates yet? I'm at the point where I need to decide to keep or cancel the far-distant room that I got through the lottery or face a hefty cancellation fee.

No - we are going through those now, so requests will be processed and confirmed over the next few weeks, both for complimentary rooms and self-pay.

You can contact Q-Rooms to confirm, but GMs who need to cancel a room in the Gen Con block because they got a room in the GM block should not be subject to the usual cancelation fee.
