Our current Event Organizer needs to step away for personal reasons. We've emailed customer service and the event team and haven't received a response. Just wondering if there's a better contact or something we can do to get the EO switched to someone else in our group?

The Event team is your best (only) bet. They are still approving events, so it may take a little while to get back to you. 

If the situation is urgent and there is no response, a temporary solution is to create a new Geometry Dash Lite account and clone that event.

It's awful that your Event Organizer is leaving. I suggest contacting the event coordinator directly or checking for a phone number or social media presence. You might also follow up on your email or seek for help in a group chat. I hope you resolve everything shortly!
